Every summer the Northwest’s top tastemakers, influencers and party-goers flock to Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood for a three-day celebration of music, art and community. For over 20 years, the Capitol Hill Block Party has spilled through the streets of this iconic cultural epicenter as local bands and national acts converge to create one of the largest festivals in the region. Pulling together a who’s-who and who’s-going-to-be-who of the modern music scene, CHBP sets the bar for exposing people to new acts in a wide range of genres.

We just wrapped up year 21 of the Capitol Hill Block Party, and were enamored by so many of the acts that we saw. Didn’t make it out yourself? That’s ok – we put together a playlist of some of our favorite tracks from this year’s artists so you can hear what all the fuss was about.

The Wayward Wandering Shop is open from now until July 28th (4 more days!!) at Sole Repair Shop, located at 1001 E. Pike St in Capitol Hill. Come explore with us now that CHBP 2017 has wrapped and enjoy our lounge and retail shopping experience, along with special events, including: Batiking with Roark (8/25), Leather embossing with Tanner Goods (8/26), happy hour & grilling with Traeger Grills and Yeti (8/27) and live music by Wall of Ears with happy hour beers provided by GrowlerWerks (8/28). Each of the events is open to all ages – drinks available with ID.
